This spacious, four-bedroom beach house is a perfect group or family getaway. This charming vacation rental includes a variety of luxurious amenities and noteworthy features including a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a warming wood stove and gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and island views. Outside, the home offers a furnished, wraparound deck with a gas grill, and kayaks are provided to keep everyone on your getaway busy!

Harstene Island Beach House
The description of the house if very deceptive. Even using a 4 wheel drive vehicle will not get you to the garage on this house. No way to turn around. So parking is up and far away from the house. Out side ground around the house was very weedy. Easy access to beach front was actually treacherous. Steep steps down and steep steps back up to house. There is a grounds keeper living in the basement of this house so don't know how this meets what Vrbo is advertising. Can't say that staying at this house was good and don't recommend that it.

Gorgeous view! Wonderful location! We had a really good time with our friends and dogs walking at the beach. But
One thing that made us disappointed is that only one shower was available, even there are two Bathrooms.

When we arrived the electricity was out and the men in our group found the breaker box and that fixed the problem. The master bedroom toilet didn’t work. We bought a snake thing and unclogged the toilet it was better after that. The house is big very rustic and lots of fun Antiques with lots of lamps. Good place for a big family

I wish I would have read reviews prior to making reservations.
Very outdated. Beds were horrible. There was not enough hot water to take 2 showers. The floor under the master bath toilet was rotten and felt like you were going to fall through the floor, and it tipped to the left side. No light bulbs in the upstairs lamps. The stained glass light above kitchen table had exposed wires. Smoke alarm in master bedroom was hanging from the ceiling.

Rustic escape with an amazing view
Perfect getaway for a much needed holiday disconnect. The house is stunning with a well-stocked kitchen (remember to bring your own food, stores a bit of a haul). Great touch with the large selection of movies and games. Enjoyed the wood stove (took some time to find some good dry wood nearby) and the pup loved to cozy up to the fireplace.

Great deck
Location with view of water and path down to water was great. Deck was great. All of the beds were horribly uncomfortable, and the kitchen was not well-stocked with pans - absolutely no sheet pans to be found. I would like to say we would stay here again, but not with how horrible the beds were.

Zero stars. Terrible communication.
Unable to travel due to weather conditions. Travel advisory said it was impossible to go to the location of the house. Vacasa decided to keep my money- all of it, even cleaning fees, that I presume they didn't have to clean after nobody was able to travel to stay. I have waited for hours on the phone to talk to someone from Vacasa. Then I waited over 1 hr to talk to VRBO on the phone. Made these travel plans within 14:days of leaving for trip only to find out there was a storm in the area. Great to hear, that you have a policy protecting you from doing the right thing by changing dates or reimbursing money spent by me and 5 other people who also didn't want to get stuck in a storm at your location. Lesson learned here. I don't expect an email back or a phone call since it has been over a week since I contacted this business about the storm warning and inability to travel through email. We're all so burnt on the experience with your company we won't book again through you, VRBO, or home away. 6;professionals in healthcare and education, not willing to use your services. Thank you for the eye opener about your business. Sincerely.
