Welcome to The Nordic Farmhouse

The lovingly renovated Nordic Farmhouse is a spacious Swedish holiday home for families, couples, and groups who want to spend a relaxing time together surrounded by nature. With seven bedrooms, plenty of space inside the house, and a large property, it offers ample room for shared experiences while also providing pleasant places to retreat.

The house is situated in a quiet location on the edge of woods and meadows. With a little luck, you can spot roe deer, red deer, and sometimes even moose from the kitchen and the property. A small stream runs behind the house, adding to the special atmosphere of this place. On the large terrace, you can enjoy breakfast together, have a barbecue, or relax as the day comes to a close.

RELAXATION IN NATURE

The Nordic Farmhouse features its own hot tub, which will be prepared for you upon prior reservation. A warm bath under the open sky is a wonderful experience, especially on cooler evenings.

For stays of fewer than four nights, there is an additional fee of 800 SEK for the use and preparation of the hot tub. For stays of four nights or more, use of the hot tub is included in the price at no additional cost.

In addition, our property features a traditional wood-fired sauna located right next to the stream. The sauna is available to guests staying in our holiday homes but can be reserved for a specific time slot. During your booked time, it is available exclusively to you and your group.

A PARADISE FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN

Children will find plenty of space here to play, explore, and run around. The large property features, among other things, a trampoline and a water slide. Forests, meadows, water, and animals make your stay a true nature experience.

Many friendships have already been formed on our farm—not only between children but also between adults. At the same time, each holiday home offers plenty of privacy, so you can decide for yourself how much social interaction you’d like.

LAKES, THE BALTIC SEA, AND WATER ADVENTURES

The surrounding area is characterised by numerous lakes, forests, and small streams. A beautiful swimming lake is just a few minutes away. There are around 100 lakes within a radius of approximately 20 kilometres.

You can reach the Baltic Sea coast by car in about 15 minutes. There you’ll find small harbours, swimming spots, archipelago landscapes, and beautiful coastal towns. A rowing boat can also be rented, subject to availability. Canoe, kayak, and SUP rentals, as well as boat tours through the archipelago, are also offered in the surrounding area.

FISHING AND NATURE EXPERIENCES

The famous Mörrumsån salmon river is only about a ten-minute drive away and is internationally renowned for its salmon and sea trout fishing. Many of the area’s lakes also offer excellent fishing opportunities.

The diverse landscape is ideal for hiking, biking, mushroom picking, and nature excursions. With a little luck, you might spot roe deer, red deer, moose, and numerous bird species along the way.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

Karlshamn, with its harbour, restaurants, and shops, is just a short drive away. Olofström and Mörrum are also very close by. Popular destinations include Eriksberg Wildlife Park, the Kreativum Science Centre, the archipelago off Karlshamn, as well as various nature reserves, hiking trails, swimming spots, and canoe routes.

Whether it’s a summer holiday among the lakes and the Baltic Sea, cosy fall days in the forest, or relaxing evenings in the hot tub—the Nordic Farmhouse offers the perfect setting for a special time in southern Sweden, no matter the season.

Final cleaning is not included in the room rate and costs an additional 1.800 SEK per stay.

The boat can also be rented, subject to availability and weather conditions. The sauna is reserved for specific time slots and is available for your private use during your booked time.
