The rooms are simple, but very comfortable, (TV, Tea making and soon). The situation, nestling against Le Loiret. The restaurant is exceptional, everything beautifly prepared, and presented, with a splendid range of wines to accompany the dishes. The patron and his staff are friendly and so professional. Le Pavilion Bleu is one of our favourite places to stay. If you want a real taste of France, this hotel, and its restaurant , is for you. The hotel advertises their restaurant, posts a remarkable menu, and indicates dining is available 7 days a week. We arrived on Sunday, July 30, late in the afternoon and were told that the restaurant was not open that evening. We enquired about others options and received very little help except being told that there was a restaurant a few buildings down the street. It was also closed. When we returned to the foyer of Pavillon Bleu, we found it empty of staff and the open dining and bar area roped off, lights out. My husband made the mistake of stepping around the rope into the main entrance and promptly set of the security alarm. Still, no one arrived. We left the property in search of dinner, but feeling guilty, return to the hotel. The alarm was off, and still, no one around. Breakfast the next morning was served in the foyer of the bar and was adequate. We found that the Hotel lacked the “hospitality” that we have experienced all over France.
