"We met up here with my parents and siblings for a family reunion, and everyone was impressed with the place. The house was even bigger than expected and full of character. Our favorite spots were the sunroom and the area down by the lake. The train bridge is so cool. We enjoyed watching the trains go by, and driving under the trains on the bridge was a fun experience. There is so much to do in this area. We explored Duluth and the north shore of Lake Superior."

"My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. "I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. "This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"
