A great little house on the lake. I didn't completely understand the layout from the pics/description (maybe I didn't read it thoroughly!). Since the property is sloped (down to the lake) the main level that you walk in on includes the main living area with kitchen/dining/living space. It's very nice, comfortable, and the views of the lake are fantasic. From there, it's a few ladder-type steps up to a loft-style BR with a double (queen, I think) bed. This was great for my young adult daughter and her friend to share. Being a loft, there's not a proper door to it, but it's still mostly private --moreso than most rooms that would be considered lofts. Heading downstairs from the living/kitchen/dining area, you are in a large room on the patio/lake level. This room has a murphy bed that is kept in the bed position (i.e, it's used as the main bedroom). There's a small desk area for a laptop and a loveseat (wicker style). There are sliding doors leading right out to the patio/lake. House is well stocked with all you'll need in the kitchen and plenty of clean linens. Very nice.
As for location, you can go south for a day on the coast or north for a hike in the mountains. It's a bit far for a day hike in Baxter but there are hikes southwest of there that are fantasic and about 1 1/2 hrs drive. The lake community is quiet. You can swim/canoe right off the cabin's dock. All in all, place was perfect for us and I would highly recommend:)
