"This older motel was more than sufficient for our visit to Raton NM and Trinidad CO. No complaints at all about the room, the amenities and cleanliness. The continental breakfast is pretty basic and meager--that may be the one thing that was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, the motel has a Mexican restaurant on site that stays open late and serves pretty good food. Overall, I would gladly stay at Casa Lemus again."

"Beautiful home on a mountain side next to Raton, NM. Restaurants & grocery stores are within 5 minutes driving time. The house is well stocked with all the cooking hardware & flatware to feed a family. The back deck is a highlight. A covered outdoor dining area also has a gas bbq pit & out door lounging area. We had a very curious grey fox visit the back deck every night!"

"Building has quite a bit of character and is pleasantly set back from the street - nice and quiet. Deer were in the yard throughout our stay and we took care not to spook or bother them. Interesting way to have your morning coffee.Short drive to Whittington Center if that's why you're in town."
