- Welcome to The Friendly Fern! Many guests have already enjoyed our Adirondack cabin with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and additional flexible sleeping areas, open living area with cathedral ceiling and wood stove. Enjoy the large deck with outdoor dining and grill, our firepit area, beach access and direct snowmobile trail access/snowmobile trailer parking. Just a short drive from Old Forge, it’s the perfect home base for year-round adventures. We’re always happy to welcome old friends and new!
