"We enjoyed our three-night stay in Highlands. The location is just far enough out of town to be quiet and relaxing. The large living room windows offered beautiful sunset views, and the gas fireplace made it cozy. The home was clean overall, communication with the host was excellent, and we appreciated the keyless entry and having a washer/dryer. It was also thoughtful to have a Keurig ready when we arrived.A few things to note: this home seems designed for taller guests. The beds are quite high, and closet rods and the stacked washer/dryer controls were difficult to reach. One shower had a built-in seat and grab bar, which was helpful, though a handheld showerhead would be a nice addition.Only one bedroom had seating, so a chair or bench in the other would help while dressing. There’s no desk, and the dining chairs are low, making laptop use less comfortable.The unit is part of a duplex, but we heard no noise from neighbors. The only cleanliness issue was the freezer, which needed attention.Overall, a quiet, comfortable stay—especially for taller guests. "

"We found all the waterfalls and hikes we wanted. Buck's has the best coffee. Grocery store and restraunts are close. The cabin was indeed cozy and a beautiful peaceful location. It has all the makings for a Hallmark movie. "
