Booked The Room on September 9th. Arrived on October 28th at 5:30 p.m. to find the place locked up tight. No one answered the phone. Empty parking lot. Why would they take a reservation if they were closing for the season. Lucky I had booked through expedia. After 35 minutes they booked me another room at a nicer hotel. Expedia did pay the difference in cost for the new hotel

I did not like this place mostly because I did not like the room. No curtains, only cheap blinds, spider hanging from ceiling, floor in bathroom sagging, sink in living room area not in bathroom, terrible customer service...front desk very rude!

Arrived early evening after a long wet day of driving. Room, although not fancy was vey clean, well supplied with coffee, sugar, etc. fridge and microwave. Utensils were on the weak side - one can opener, 1 plastic wine glass, one sharp knife and 1 corkscrew. We needed none of these. The coffee supplied was very good. Had now seen a Mr. Coffee machine in years, but it worked well. Would go back again.

This is not a holiday hotel it is being used as a commercial motel for workers. Old dark rooms. House keeping not done when promised. Reported that the sink plug did not work and water leaked into cupboard below, plumber did not fix the issue. The ice machine was only switched on when the motel was full. On arrival kitchen area was not clean ,floor was sticky. On the last night a new guest was given a key to our room but she could not get in as we had fitted the door chain.

Excellent staff
The hotel is a little older and dated but the staff was friendly. My husbands sunglasses fell off the car when we drove out the next morning they were sitting on the car for us as the housekeeper saw them fall and made sure to get them back to us. While not the most comfortable pillows the room was clean they had actual dishes and cups rather than just throw away so that was a nice surprise. Very clean as well.

Flies everywhere when you open the door to the room. Says no smoking everywhere but the room smells like cigarettes. Room was bad, did not even stay the night

Close to restaurants and beaches. Older property but room remodeled. Nice kitchenette which was a surprise. Lamps didn’t work and toilet didn’t seem to be sealed good because when sat on wiggly. No one at desk, you had to ring bell then wait awhile before they came. Parking lot small for bigger vehicles

This was the cheapest room I saw in the area- a very reasonable price esp. considering the property was in good shape. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but I slept well. It was quiet, lots of hot water, and an ample sized room. The one thing I didn't like was check out time was 10 instead of 11, but it sounded like I could have asked for an extension, had I been so inclined.

Great stay! The hotel was super clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on. Even though it's right on the main road it's quiet and peaceful. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Two cons: early check out time (10am) and smoking allowed in front of rooms and in pool area which is annoying. Overall we would probably stay again.

This is an older property. It has easy access to the highway, and is across the street from a grocery store. It was a good size room. There is no dead bolt on the door, but did have a safety chain. Good size bar fridge (freezer large enough for the ice packs), microwave and coffee pot. Towel bar for sink was starting to fall off the wall. The pillows were pretty flat. The shower temperature was hard to regulate. But overall, decent hotel for the price. We didn't use the pool, but it looked well maintained. And parking was easy.

Spacious room with a mini kitchenette allowed for saving money on meals. Rooms are far enough away from the main road for peaceful mornings and evenings. Beautiful, large, clean pool area. Easy walking distance to Irish pub and Mexican food. Short drive to Drake’s Island beach, Wells beach, Crescent Beach and Ogonquit Beach, as well as shopping.

This is a big motel, not a hotel as advertised. Everyone passing to his room passes your window, which must be covered if you want to have some privacy. When we arrived, The A/C signaled that the filter needs cleaning, I did it myself, it was terribly dirty. The rooms have simple locks, not dead-bolt locks as it was required for listing the property in AAA books.

We'll be back.
Our stay was just one night, but we sure wish it was longer. The room offered everything we needed at a very affordable price. We got to Wells at least twice per year, and Footbridge North will definitely be our first choice of where to stay.
