The owner was a gracious and helpful host. They communicated well and provided everything we need. The area is beautiful and has great access to hiking in the area. the location is remote so be prepared to drive for groceries or to eat out. There is a small market in the valley and larger accessible within a 20 minute drive. Be warned the access road is steep and winter access can be difficult if there is ice or snow. We could not be happier with our stay and plan to return on our next visit to Cantal."
