Top Öcs Hotel Reviews

Mövenpick Balaland Resort Lake Balaton

Mövenpick Balaland Resort Lake Balaton

8/10 Good
"Excellent room and facilities. Room and certain other areas such as softplay, could have been cleaner, with dust build up around edges. Some of the hotel seemed a bit disorganised. Booked a takeaway breakfast for an early flight home, and the employee at the front desk claimed that this was not possible. Kitchen staff acknowledged that it had been ordered, but when to check if it was finished and never came back. Kids club activities didn't run to schedule. Pool opening times seemed to change each day. Overall a brilliant hotel for kids, just needs some more attention to detail to be truely amazing."

You'll find the Ócs Church, a significant landmark, and the Ócs Landscape Protection Area, which includes wetlands and walking paths. The village centre is compact and easy to navigate on foot, with a few local eateries and shops available.

Couples looking for a quiet retreat will find the village centre ideal. It offers a chance to disconnect and enjoy nature, with opportunities for gentle strolls through the landscape protection area or exploring the historic church.

While July and August offer the warmest weather, they can also be quite hot, and it's the peak tourist season, meaning more visitors. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere and don't mind the heat, this could be a good option.
