The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything I needed to cook dinners for one and dinners for 6\. The screened porch was lovely and cool, catching the breeze in the afternoon - a delightful place to sit and watch the world go by. The location of the house is ideal - easy biking distance to the village and walking distance of my favourite place on Ocracoke - Springers Point. The house is very light and airy with ceiling fans to supplement the a/c when it's really hot. Always a cool oasis to come home to! The only major con for us was the furniture was so uncomfortable and the ceiling fan on the porch didn’t work. The mattresses were thin and springy to where your back hurt so bad by the end of the week. All the guests staying here were under 30 and we all were complaining of back pain by night 4\. There wasn’t any relief on the couches either. The house is super spacious, felt clean (other than spider friends everywhere but it’s the beach), and kitchen was very well stocked!
