Enjoy a walkable location that's both scenic and convenient, top-floor views looking out over the ocean, and spectacular nightly sunsets to take in from your covered balcony. This third-floor condo sits a few blocks from the heart of Ocean Shores, within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and entertainment. To access the broad stretch of beautiful beach, simply stroll half a mile up or down the road (or bring your car, since you can drive on the beach here). It's a place to spend your days clamming, beachcombing, surfing, or teeing off at the Ocean Shores Golf Course just over a mile south. Please keep in mind there is no elevator and stairs are required to enter the condo. You'll feel relaxed and at ease as soon as you step through the door, with a view of the ocean framed by the rear balcony doors. Step outside and breathe in the salty sea air, or curl up by the electric fireplace to stream movies on the smart TV. When you feel like staying in for dinner, you'll have a well-equipped kitchen with every essential. Leave the day's swimsuits in the washer/dryer, check tomorrow's surf report using the complimentary WiFi, and sleep soundly in a private bedroom with its own smart TV. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The place was beautifully decorated but needs a new range/oven and dishwasher (to noisy to run while you are there. Could not contact property manager to answer questions. Four light bulbs were out. From the start, we had trouble even getting into the condo. The lock instructions were unclear, and after a long day of travel with our dog, we had to spend about an hour figuring out how to unlock the door. A simple note on how the lock worked would have saved us a lot of frustration.Once inside, we found that the condo was lacking a lot of the basics it promised. There were no toiletries, no extra sheets or blankets for the second sleeping area, not an ounce of coffee for the morning, and no firewood for the fireplace. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with scratchy, low-quality sheets, and we barely got any sleep. On top of that, the TV took ages to start up, the cable went out, andthe condo was on a third floor with no elevator, which would be a big problem for anyone with mobility issues.The one positive was the view of the ocean from the balcony, but it didn’t make up for the overall disappointment. In the end, we decided not to stay the second night. It’s also worth noting that this rental was managed by a third party, and it felt like no one had a personal stake in making sure the place was comfortable. Communication was poor, and it just wasn’t worth the money.Overall, I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place and frankly, looking for a different vacation spot entirely. ##### Julie B.
