The Wesley Cottage is a lovely home. It was very well stocked with everything guests need. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach in Ocean Grove as well as steps from the bridge to the restaurants, bars, and vintage shops of Asbury Park.

We absolutely love Ocean Grove! This was our first time renting a home instead of staying at our favorite bed and breakfast. The house was just like the listing described—it has such a charming and quaint vibe, and it was spotless when we arrived. Plus, it was super convenient to everything Ocean Grove and Asbury Park have to offer!The owner was really nice and responded to all our questions so quickly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to come back here again, if the prices stay reasonable!The only little downside was the limited outdoor space, but we really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with our morning coffee. Oh, and the kitchen was a bit tricky to navigate if you wanted to cook up a meal, but we managed just fine. Overall, it was a great experience, and we can’t wait to visit again!

Parking - awful 2nd bathroom is functional but it is a converted broom closet. The cleaners were still there an after an hour after check in time. House is in a good location and well maintained.

Lil get away !!!

Honestly, I was impressed by the location. The only thing that Sabbar me was the photos online not knowing that it is a two family home house. I didn’t really expect it to be , But with the space we were able to work everything out the beds in the main bedrooms are very small so for tall people it’s a little uncomfortable considering me and my partner are almost 6 feet tall and then the other couple I had was tall as well, the mini room that has the single bed is for a little girl or child to sleep in. Pull out couch is pretty comfortable but the house is very small . And very fragile with the antiques defenitley a beautiful property and adored the little garden outside

First of all one of the bedrooms smelled HORRIBLE. I needed to spray and remove a comforter from a bedroom, just to minimize the unappealing smell. I certainly know the house was nicely clean other than that one room, (the cleaning Co. were still there when we arrived after 4:00 pm as required). Annoying yet we understood, (it happens).It does need a little refreshing up with furniture. Not the most comfortable furniture. The house was clean 👍🏻but shabby, not antique furniture. Just OLD! Great location to Asbury Park! That’s a plus.

Claustrophobic

The nice things I will say about the property is that it was conveniently located near family and friends. The neighborhood was nice. The gas stove was appreciated. The negatives were while the furnishings may be described as antique, I will describe as tired. The couch was very uncomfortable. Considering the accommodations, the price was out of line especially off season. The second bathroom, described in the prior reviews as a closet does not amply define the space. It is located in the kitchen and is maybe 30" wide and is only suitable for a male to urinate. The parking near the property was hit or miss and presented a challenge on load in and load out days. My husband loves to cook and we believed that we could have family and friends over for meals. The house was too small and drafty to have such dinners. Working in the kitchen proved to be a challenge due to size and lack of counter space.

We love the Wesley Cottage!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wesley Cottage. The location is amazing- a short walk to the beach/boardwalk while still being close to the bars and nightlife of asbury park without being on top of it. The house is clean, comfortable and the outdoor areas are adorable. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.

Perfect holiday rental

We loved our stay - beautifully and uniquely decorated, comfortable and peaceful home. Ideally located for Asbury Park though Ocean Grove itself is also lovely. Small confusion with timings of cleaners, but both Dan and Evolve couldn’t have been quicker to respond or more helpful and it didn’t spoil our stay at all. Would love to visit again one day, hopefully for longer.

We wanted a quiet week at the shore in the off-season. Grateful to find this cottage with heat as it did get chilly! Everything was as described and hosts were quick to respond to questions.
