We were still close to all that Ocean City had to offer. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and condition of the property was not up to standard. We communicated immediately with the rental agency Vacasa. They asked for us to take pictures of the issues and email them so we did. Issues ranged from a cheese crusted pan left in oven, yellow stained pillow left on bed, moldy shower head (we had to purchase a new one), rusted out shower rod, smelly and dusty kitchen cabinets, unnecessary and lack of items in cabinets, moldy top of agitator in washing machine, basket with plastic bottle and large clump of hair, non-working upstairs TV, shelf above upstairs toilet that was barely hanging by one nail and eventually fell, downstairs toilet that overflowed due to very old toilet tank equipment, and garbage and dead horseshoe crabs that floated to the end of the canal (not in their control but should be noted). We still made the best of it. Sadly, almost all of these issues can be easily fixed with a little bit of money and some TLC.
