The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with angled water views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

August stay

The property was well located. Easy access to everything needed. The room could be a little more cozy. There were not enough pillowcases for the spare pillows. There could have been some throw blankets for the couch and when we got there there was no toilet paper.

The location and view were perfect, however we were disappointed to find dirty linens on the beds upon arrival. When changing the sheets, the pillows provided were very clearly stained and yellow.. The counters and couch had crumbs and sand, so we spent quite some time cleaning up before we unpacked our stuff and were able to enjoy after the long drive. A few random things to note as well; The screen door on the balcony was broken and unable to be opened. Coffee pot provided did not work either. The beds were hard as rocks. Probably would not choose this hotel again, but we did enjoy our vacation.

Clean and convenient

Unit was clean and temperature was comfortable upon arrival. Access to beach was perfect and was not too crowded. Kitchen was well stocked and a plus for making breakfast and lunch everyday so we didn’t have to leave the condo unit to eat so we could get right back in beach.

Good spot, old bldg

Had a wonderful family vacation but the condo is an old building in need of some love. Just a shame to pay so much money bc it's a July stay, but then the place feels run down and kind of dirty. I'm not sure about other rooms within the place but this one in particular was not very nice. The carpet is kind of gross, the AC never got quite cold enough, there were light bulbs burned out, garbage under the beds and couches, a mattress flipped to the wrong side, the railing on the balcony seemed dangerously loose. However! The views are beautiful from both sides and it was nice to have an indoor pool options. Nice outdoor atmosphere even tho the arcade sucks. Nothing ruined our vacation of course but I just probably wouldn't go back here.

Value

It's not the fanciest place and it could use a fresh coat of paint. But it is priced cheaper than other units in Golden Sands with the same amenities. Not a bad decision, I'd stay here again.
