Sunset Island is Ocean City's premier gated community, boasting luxurious amenities in an ideal location that's central to all this resort town has to offer. This private, 37-acre island includes every amenity, such as stunning bay views, walking trails, indoor and outdoor pools, an interactive fountain, a fishing/crabbing pier, a clubhouse, three private bay beaches, The Landing Restaurant, a market, boat docks, and a convenient midtown location at 67th Street. THINGS TO KNOW For flexible rental options, each home is available for individual booking. This is a non-smoking property. No pets please. The building registration fee includes six facility passes and 3 parking passes for 1Beachside Mews and six facility passes and three parking passes for 2 Beachside Mews. Additional facility passes are $75 per pass, per person per week. Children three and under do not require a facility pass. The fees are the following: Winter (January 1 - April 30 and October 1 – December 31) = $200\. Spring (May 1- May 23) = $300\. Summer (Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day, May 24 to Saturday AFTER Labor Day, September 12) = $400 Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 6 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Having access to 12 bedrooms enabled us to plan a couples retreat. They placed traps where the ants were not but we moved them. Toilet paper holder in master was off the wall, holes in plaster not repaired. Check in was a disaster. Codes provided did not work to open doors. lots of calling back and forth with Vacasa rep, took over an hour just to get inside the rentals. Something dead was on the floor in the Gagrage and the smell was horrendous. We used a kids sand shovel to remove it and the smell left along with it THE ENTIRE FACITY DOES NOT RECYCLE!!!
