There's a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, an indoor dining nook, as well as a table outside on the sheltered balcony for al fresco meals. Other amenities include a flatscreen TV in the living room and additional TVs in both of the bedrooms. The Pyramid is an Ocean City landmark, offering a unique architectural design and a prime location on the beachfront. Enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and an oceanfront deck on the grounds, as well as easy access to a shopping center and public tennis courts directly across the street. Here on Coastal Highway, you'll be within blocks of all sorts of restaurants, shops, conveniences, miniature golf courses, and nightlife. The 58-acre expanse of Northside Park is less than two miles north, while Fenwick Island is just over three miles north across the Delaware state line. THINGS TO KNOW No smoking Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. A $40 registration fee is due at check-in at Pyramid building year-round. The fee Includes use of on-site amenities and one (1) parking space. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. On arrival, I walked in and through to check things out. I felt sand on my feet and the floors were so dirty, my feet were brown! The place smelled musty and the towels smelled like they were left in the washer too long wet. Nasty smell!! The toilet overflowed with the first flush! One of the sliding glass doors doesn’t open because it’s off the track so we could only open one. We can say that the maintenance man came quickly to check on the toilet. Not allowed to check in 30 min early AND no late check out allowed either! Have to pick up bldg keys from another location...check in person was annoyed having to give us a 2nd key to accomodate all guests Super long entry door code, never worked the first try I booked this place three month aga yet when we arrived our unit smelled musty/moldy so we had to request full refresh All 3rd party communications, no one onsite is able to help...not helpful Hidden parking fees requiring CASH ONLY were NOT noted on original booking, shady I will NEVER book Vacasa nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know! 👎 ##### Sandi S. It was the most inconvenient trip we have ever had. After an 8 hour drive, we spent the first 2 hours buying cleaning products and cleaning. The floors were filthy and the kitchen counters still had crumbs on them. There were no potholders, no dust pan, no workable mop or cleaning rugs, no hangers, no large skillet and the coffee pot was cracked with a broken spout. We were credited $55.50 for the cleaning products, but that didn't give us back the 2 hours of cleaning. And the coffee pot was replaced , but not until the day after I reported it and then a call to the office. Two days into our stay, the battery died in our door look. And even though they had a service person come later that evening to replace the battery, we were locked out of the unit and need to go pick up keys 30 blocks away at the Vacasa office. We were very dissatisfied. We've stayed at the Pyramids (other units) for many years and didn't have the issues we had at this unit. ##### Linda F.
