Enjoy both sunrises and sunsets as you sit back and enjoy the view from Century I 1907, an updated, two-bedroom, two-bathroom, oceanfront condo in North Ocean City (99th Street). This two-story, 1,177-square-foot property offers a unique experience in that it has balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the condo for beautiful views of the ocean and the bay - great at sunrise and sunset! The open-concept living area is cozy and relaxing, with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with comfortable furniture and a flatscreen TV. Step outside from the living room onto the oceanfront balcony for cool sea breezes and panoramic views of the ocean, the beach, and the entire Ocean City coastline stretching out in the distance. Both bedrooms are located on the bay side of the building and have balconies with beautiful bay views. Additional amenities include central AC, a private washer/dryer, and an indoor pool, sauna, and fitness room in the building. Just take the elevator downstairs and you're steps from the ocean and sand! Guests of Century I have access to great facilities that include an indoor pool (open seasonally), an oceanfront sun deck, and a fully renovated gym with a sauna. A variety of restaurants and attractions are conveniently located within walking distance, including Liquid Assets, Trattoria Lombardi's, and the Ocean City Public Library. You'll also be a short drive or bus ride from the famous Ocean City Boardwalk on the south side of town and beautiful Northside Park up at 126th Street - the host of fun events throughout the year as well as a fishing/crabbing pier, an expansive playground, and peaceful walking paths. Things to Know A non-refundable $50 building administration fee is due immediately upon check-in. The fee covers guests' use of all amenities plus parking for 1 vehicle. A second pass is $10 a night or $70 a week. Towing is enforced with vehicles without a pass. Charges occur and parking permits are used from May 1 through October 31\. Off season, parking is not charged nor are parking permits handed out. The indoor pool at the Century1 building does not open until Memorial Day weekend and closes the first of October. The Century 1 bulding includes climbing steps to reach your vacation rental. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 19. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. They (Vacasa) provide an incorrect address to pick up the key and when you call, you are speaking to someone not even in the area. The place was ok, older and you could tell but was decent for the few nights we were in town. The balcony over the beach was the best part. We liked the spaciousness and privacy of the two floors in the unit. Can get a permit to have a fire on the beach, which is nice (and can be seen and smelled from the balcony). The only thing is that the oceanfront balcony has very little privacy and it is quite high up (on 19th/20th floor). Luckily, most people didn’t seem to use it, at least when we did. The building check in process was long bc everyone needs the service elevator at the same time. If you can, I recommend waiting until 4:45 pm or later, unless you don’t mind making a few trips and lugging heavy items up a few flights of stairs to get to the (other) elevator. ##### Tara S. Both bathroom tp holders are falling off the wall. Downstairs bathroom ceiling was peeling. Upstairs bathroom light fixture is broken. Toilet seat was broken also. 2nd floor bedroom mattress needs replaced ASAP. It's in very bad condition. The living room area rug needs replaced. The edges are curling up & someone could very easily trip & fall. On a positive note the views were amazing & we had a great time. ##### Donna F. Clean and comfortable with amazing views. The kitchen could have had a few more supplies (only 3 forks, dull knives, etc) but that was hardly a problem to take away from all the positives. The building itself is terrible. 3 flights of stairs to get into the lobby. Only one elevator for loading and unloading all your stuff (which everyone is using on Saturdays). Multiple staircases to get from the building to the beach. No ramps. It was difficult getting to the beach with a cart, if you required a wheelchair, this building is impossible. Aggressive notes posted everywhere threatening to fine and/or evict you if you do anything wrong. ##### Jessica B. This condo is on the 19th floor so the views were amazing … bay views off both bed rooms and ocean view off the living room. Everything in the condo was super clean, comfy, top notch and modern. However, there were three basic flaws that we should not have had to deal with for the price: (1) The mattresses were hard as rocks and sagged in the middle. They clearly should have been replaced years ago. (2) There was no Wi-Fi for the first two days (out of five). It turns out they gave us the wrong network and password in the welcome email, and it took them two days to give us the correct ones. This was especially problematic because both my wife and I had to work remotely and were counting on W-Fi. (3) Most inexcusable of all, the tap water was foul -- it smelled strongly of mildew and gave one of us gastrointestinal issues. I've literally had better water in developing countries. For what we paid, we expected better. Avoid this building, and particularly this unit, at all costs. ##### Jeff K. Checking in procedure was not ideal as no information provided prior to our flight; in fact, we had to email and call before the details were provided the 'day of'. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a medical issue; and even though we sought out the individual on-call to let them know we were leaving, we had no instructions. The instructions were sent to us well after we were already back home. As far as the place though, it was clean and the views on both sides made it a huge joy. We loved the location, the view and the condo! The condo was immaculate and had a lovely kitchen. The bathrooms were a little small (very narrow), especially if you have young kids. Our only real complaint was the check-in process. We were given a rusty grocery cart and you can only access a very small service elevator from the parking lot level with your luggage. There appeared to be only 1 elevator for everyone checking in and also using the beach. The main elevators for the building are in the lobby up 3 flights of steps. Waiting for the service elevator which barely fit the cart, my mother in law and my 2 kids took forever. You need to repeat this process for check out also. ##### Angela K. Great Location This listing was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Fully stocked stocked kitchen. Perfect location right across the street from grocery shopping and plenty of dining nearby.
