A great stay with one of the best balcony/bar restaurant on the beach. The beach access was easy to get to and they provided towels and chairs/umbrellas for guests. Our room was comfortable and the little balcony was great to see the beach from. Great stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was very clean and well maintained. There are two great restaurants on-site, easy beach access, chairs and umbrellas available for guests to use. The staff was wonderful, and the hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay. We had such a great experience and will definitely be staying here again!

The property was great in proximity to the beach, very convenient. Very quiet, not a lot of kids and despite the amount of dogs we saw, it was very quiet. Our Kuerig was broken, so we had to get the coffee from the gift shop...so that amenity wasn't free. Overall, it was lovely.

Hotel was beautiful. We had issues checking in because of additional parking fee. We do not use cell phones and initial staff would not assist us. We were also not given our meal vouchers or informed about availability of wi-fi. Would not order cocktails again and would have enjoyed "lighter" cafe offerings, menu was heavy on the deep fry side. Ovrer all hotel was very nice.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast was great at the tideroom. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff was helpful. We had booked a room with a king bed and a city view but got 2 queen beds and an ocean view. We didn't complain as we secretly enjoyed having our separate beds lol The only downside was the parking situation. The spaces are limited and expensive daily fees

The property itself was great, very much a resort atmosphere. You don’t have to leave if you choose to Nightly music/entertainment, yoga on the beach, outdoor/indoor beach side dining and bar service on the beach! The add on option for breakfast, at the time of booking, is worth it(@Tide Room). Our room did not have a microwave - the only minus. The room tower is perpendicular to the beach. So the only ocean front view in the building are rooms on the East side or maybe the top. All other available ocean views are at a sideways angle because your windows/patio face the properties on the left/right of the hotel. Long story short-you won’t be disappointed staying here. We look forward to staying here again.

The rooms were clean and the staff was courteous and professional. The view of the beach from the terrace was outstanding. The only thing that prevents me from giving the Ashore an overall excellent rating was there was not always hot water in the shower.

Room was spacious, with a couch and a small table with 2 chairs. Balcony was small, but adequate. View was lovely! Bathroom had a night light (I know, I know a small thing, but in the middle of the night it's a big thing!) That massive "Ashore Deck" was fantastic for chilling out. Bar in the back was good. Didn't eat at the main restaurant; too expensive! Staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. Appreciated that water was available to fill up our water bottles in the ice room and near the restaurant. It would've been nice to have complimentary coffee in the lobby early in the morning, like all the other Marriotts and other nice hotels have. The door to our room stuck tight and we had to pull hard every time we opened it. And it was LOUD, too. Not great at 5am!

Location is great. Ocean front. Expedia was advertising Ashore is providing chairs and umbrellas free of charge. Not true I was charged $39 for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. The property told me it is no longer a policy to provide beach umbrellas and chairs. Is Expedia going to reimburse me?
