This thoughtfully decorated home is ready for your family to enjoy. It is a very short distance to the beach, and very close to the grocery store, multiple restaurants, and shopping centers. The interior is spread out with plenty of space for all to relax and enjoy. The home backs to the canal and has a stone paver patio and deck for relaxing in the morning with your coffee or in the afternoon when you return from the day at the beach. The patio has wicker lounge chairs for laying out and soaking up the sun and the deck has a table and chairs. Additional amenities include beach chairs for guest use, boogie boards, a beach cart and wagon to haul your items to the beach, a corn hole, a foosball table in the garage for guest enjoyment, a crab trap for crabbing off the back patio, and an abundant amount of board games and coloring books for the kids. THINGS TO KNOW No smoking. Please note that this property is located in an R1 zoned area. Per Ocean City ordinance, no more than 4 unrelated persons may occupy the property during a rental period and guests must complete and return the enclosed registration form. Maximum occupancy limit strictly enforced. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This property needs to be properly cleaned and needs pest control. There are spider webs all over the place and mouse traps all thru the property. Smells moldy and damp. Upon arrival the door key pad did not work, took 45 mins to get someone on the phone. Was given another code that did not work, eventually had to be given the code to the lockbox for the physical key. The kitchen had fly sticky traps hanging from the ceiling which was covered in fly’s and the fridge was full of food from previous person. It took us hours to spray and wipe this place down with lysol. The AC vents and the back of the couches are all covered with thick dust. First of all, we very much enjoyed our trip at this home. The house is spacious, rooms are well divided, plenty of bathroom to spare and a beautiful scenery with the canal right outside your door. But this house is in desperate need of work. Leaks in the ceiling, that caused bubbles in the ceiling paint, and a very strong smell of mildew. When we called Vacasa to do something, we were only given a can of Lysol and a single use humidity trap thing. No air purifier for the mildew, no one came to look at the property or anything. The house was also very filthy, I had to spend about 2 hours vacuuming all the filth everywhere. Again, when we complained to Vacasa, not a single soul showed up to remedy the situation. The bathroom had leaks around the showers as well, and the paint was starting to bubble on the wall right outside the shower. Be wary that this house looks good, but you will have to deal with a bunch of issues at your arrival and Vacasa will do very little to help, even though they pretend to care at first. Because of this experience, we would not book through Vacasa again, and would definitely change house if we are to return in this area. Be aware! ##### Melanie P.
