The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable. There's also new HVAC installed in 2024!

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place with a beautiful view!

Second time staying at the Golden Sands! Great place. After reading prior reviews for this apartment, we were concerned about renting it. We called Vacasa to ask about it - I was impressed that they were able to check that whatever needed to be fixed/changed had been done! The apartment was very nice. Glad that the dishes, pots and pans were in excellent condition - (a big plus as some can be really old, all scratched, just over used) pretty much new! The king bed was comfortable - we didn’t use the second bedroom. The bathrooms are not updated, but it didn’t matter to us. Over all, very happy!!

No AC and horrible Internet

AC didn’t work for the entire stay and the internet was horrible. Apparently there is an owner wireless that they didn’t provide to us. It is crazy. Renters should get to use that internet. Staying on the 21st floor with no AC was no fun.

Great Place but cleanliness issues

I just wanted to take the time to review this property to help other families that might rent it for the week. First this is a great place for families and it had amazing views on the 21st floor. Having separate bedrooms and bathrooms was a huge positive. One of the biggest issues was the cleanliness of the place. Upon arrival there was broken blinds on the floors, the carpet in bedrooms was not vacuumed, and mold was on the shower curtains and tubs. Also just a head up for families to bring spices and maybe a cooking pan or too. It is a little outdated but we were just there to sleep and rest after an awesome day at the beach. It was a great price and just what a family of four needed. Hope this helps anyone :) — also side note with it being outdated it does not have a smart tv — thinking of the little ones :)

Dirty

Do not rent this unit. It was disgustingly dirty and in need of a deep clean and updating. There was food under the beds, dirty socks left on the floor, sticky floors, moldy bath curtains, stains on the carpet, missing blinds, dirty bath tub, dirt in the drawers and cabinets. The coffee maker had dirty water in it. Also the cable did not work. It was an unpleasant stay. I reached out to Vacasa and they sent cleaners who came in and picked up some of the dirty food under the beds, and ran the vacuum but it was still very dirty, They said the cleaners didn’t do deep cleans. The owners need to do a complete deep clean before renting this unit out again, I would never rent this place again, Vacasa was supposed to have a supervisor reach out to me to resolve issues, but I never received a call.
