This amenity filled building is ready to make this year the best Ocean City trip you have ever had. You will enjoy the easy access to the beach that this beachfront property provides. On those days when you don’t want to be on the beach, enjoy the large sundeck with an outdoor pool, kiddie pool and tiki bar. There is also a heated indoor pool that is open for year-round enjoyment! There is a tennis court along with a pickle ball court for those of you looking for a little competition. The kids will love the game room that also has two pool tables. There is a nice size gym for those of you looking to keep up with your workout routine and a sauna to help you relax those sore muscles. The building is located on 109th street and close to excellent restaurants, grocery stores, Northside Park, movies, miniature golf, go carts, laser tag and even a water park. This beautiful beachfront unit has updates throughout! The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, a tile backsplash along with updated cabinetry and is ready for all your culinary creations. The master bedroom has a king size bed and amazing ceiling to floor windows that provide an unobstructed view of the ocean along with access to the ocean front balcony. There are double beds in the second bedroom and a queen in the third. Both bedrooms share a second balcony that looks out toward the bay and coastal highway. There is also a queen sleeper in the living room. You will love having three full-sized bathrooms in this unit which is extremely rare. The living room and bedrooms have flat screen TVs and there is free WIFI for those that want to “stay connected.” There is a washer and dryer conveniently located in the unit for guest use. Come stay in this fabulous unit and create your own Ocean City memories! THINGS TO KNOW: \* Contactless check-in process. No waiting in line for a key. \* A one-time $75 resort fee paid to directly to the Golden Sands at check-in and this will provide 1 parking spot. Additional parking spots may be available at $20/day but are on a first come first served basis. (Parking is handled directly through the bldg.) \* This is a non-smoking/ non-vaping unit. \* Sorry no pets allowed. \* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. There are SERIOUS issues with the Saturday check out/check in process. The elevators for a 22+floor building are literally shut down for 3 hours. People climbing stairs with luggage and carts. Elderly people struggling to get to their units. If you are a guest on the beach and need to get to your unit you can’t without accessing the dirty, smelly stairs. I was looking for 5 adult beds no bunk beds and this one was perfect. The location is great and the beach is lovely. We stayed for a long weekend and wished we had had more time. Everything worked well ( but the sliding door could use a little oiling as it sticks a bit. Not unexpected with salt and sand about) We had one incident I only mention because it could be a safety concern. It was particuarly windy this past weekend and we has the slider open because it was warm and sunny. When someone arrived and opened the front door the wind came through with such force it blew a mirror off the wall and it crashed in the hall. So be aware if it’s windy the slider must be closed before opening the front door. If someone had been standing there they could have been hurt. I felt really bad but we didn’t know about the wind tunnel effect. Everything else was wonderful. Check in was easy and the Golden sands staff was very nice. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year at this holiday location. It is perfect for my husband and I, our 2 sons and their spouses, and one grandchild! The fourth floor is also very convenient as you can take the stairs if you are in a hurry, which you shouldn’t be if you’re on vacation. It was convenient at checkout as the elevators can get busy around 10 am! The beach is right there and not too crowded. It has a great outdoor pool which my grandson loved💕 There is an indoor pool on 22nd floor but we didn’t get to try that! Also a gym, I must admit didn’t get to that either! A beautiful view of the ocean from the outdoor patio, which has flex glass, which is important for toddlers. We spotted a pod of dolphins and a whale from our balcony! Awesome! We loved the tiki bar, shuttleboard and corn toss! Also, the facility had tennis and pickleball courts, although the surface material isn’t great for competitive players but it’s good for a fun game! We were really hoping for warm weather, but it was cold and windy the whole time, but we made the best of it sitting out on the patio. One day for breakfast was nice. The others were too windy Thing I do have to say bothered us is that the property we were staying at was undergoing renovations and upkeep for the upcoming summer season and they didn’t let us know that was happening so every morning when we woke up, there were banging and sandblasting and just an awful lot of noise to the point where we had to close The windows in the living room because it was just right underneath us. I think that we should’ve been given a better deal that we were subjected to that noise every single morning that we woke up. The carpeting in the outside hallways which we weren’t expecting were very worn and it looks like they need to be replaced. Game room looked nice however we could not find anything to use for the pool tables or the pink pug table and the woman who worked downstairs behind the glass never looked up to acknowledge us, even though we stood there many times waiting to ask her where to find these items so that we could use the game room. The pool was nice and warm and we were the only ones in the whole time we were there. There was a beautiful view of the ocean that Daughter loved sitting at just looking out waiting to see dolphins. The property was pretty empty until our last night there two families moved in near our unit and one of them had to have been a smoker because they had their glass doors open and closed open and closed for a couple of hours during middle of the night so I think they are going out there smoking There were some kids next-door Yelling, we couldn’t complain about that Because we had children with us too, although our children were not screaming. We didn’t mind the short drive to the boardwalk and back because it was off-season.
