Die unverbaute Lage ermöglicht einen Weitblick über die obere Surselva mit ihren markanten Bergen und die auf der rechten Talseite des Vorderrheins verstreut liegenden Dörfer. Im Erdgeschoss des Hauses befindet sich der von aussen zugängliche Abstellraum für Skier. Auf dem Privatareal des Hauses steht ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Das im Schweizer Kulturführer erwähnte Haus wurde 1916 vom Architekten Coray erbaut, zwischen 1975 und 1980 renoviert und mit schallisolierten Böden ausgestattet. 2022 Totalrevision. Post, Bus-Haltestelle, Restaurants, Lebensmittelgeschäft, Bankomat und Talstation der Sesselbahn Meierhof - Kartitscha sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar.  Haustiere auf Anfrage gestattet.
