Some resident/or residents used the toaster just after 7am Saturday morning so this was a bit distressing rushing downstairs then back upstairs to help a family member downstairs ( mobility issues) Other than the above room was clean reception lady was lovely cleaners were friendly. Thank you but perhaps a talk to residents about safety while using facilities

It was a proper scotish hotel , not a churned out copy of every other hotel in the country , the owners v pleasant and helpful , couldnt ask for more 😀

Room had all the basics, but was cramped. Good shower but in very small cubicle. No staff on site except to take your money. Fire alarm went off around 6am on the last morning - no staff on site to deal with it. The guests were left to phone 99 and wait for the fire brigade to come and sort it out before we could go back inside.

There ard no staff on site because of Covid to protect our staff and guests. If someone gets Covid on the premises we would have to close so no business. A guest was smoking in the room which set the alarms off. There was no fire so no need to phone the fire brigade who are busy enough without attending to alarms set off by people illegally smoking on the premises.

The guest house was very dirty, paper was hanging off the wall, there was black dampness on the walls also urine in the toilet when wee went in wee never stayed and struggled to find other accommodation just came home very disappointed no holiday

You didn’t actually stay with us so no idea why you are posting a review. We do not have black dampness on the walls in St Annes. Out rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day.

Lovely clean rooms.staff friendly and helpful.no ensuite but only a few feet to toilet and shower room.

Thank you for your kind review. We do have en-suite rooms but you booked a room with shared bathroom which is cheaper. We are also happy to upgrade on request.

Positive: they organized a breakfast dealing with my allergy. Negative: * the wifi was horrible, although I booked this place because I needed the wifi for my work * without any arguments, they gave us a room, top floor, in another guesthouse next door * one day the door to the other guest house, where the breakfast was served was closed!

Hi, thank you for your comments. Wifi is available in the building, but not in all of the rooms. We arranged for you to use the lounge for your work. We did explain where the door key was for early breakfast.

No Services at the guest hous. No parking as indicated in the search filter, we had to switch our car several times from one parking to the other. Free parking nearby only from 6pm to 9am. Breakfast: thrown away money, couldnt find out how to make coffee, no croissants, one day only brown toast. Today the knife and some dishes were dirty, so I went to another place to have breakfast - took only jogurts.

Your comments about breakfast are untrue. There was pain a chocolate and brown and white bread. There is a choice of instant or cafetière coffee. The cutlery was perfectly clean and set from the dishwasher. Parking is free overnight as advertised.
