Easter getaway
The cabin was perfect for my little family! I brought my 2 kids 11/12 here for an Easter getaway and we absolutely loved it!! Will definitely be coming back up before school starts up in the fall! The whole area is stunning and the setting for the cabin is very safe for bike riding and evening walks. This was my first time using vrbo but Michelle explained it all step for step and was very kind and easy to work with! Great hosts very accommodating!!

Misleading pictures
Living room furniture very uncomfortable and worn. Mold on outside deck. Cobwebs, dirty floors (Doritos under sofa), ladder climb impossible for anyone over 30, unsafe, very steep. Not handicap accessible, bathroom door not wide enough for walker. Owner was very belligerent. Didn't want to hear my assessment. She would stay there.

I find it interesting that this guest took the time to write a negative review 6 months after staying at our property. In fact, she texted how much she liked it, but requested to call me several times to give me personal advice on how I could make the property even better for guests because she has so much experience. I found her self grandiosity and tone condescending, which is merely when I pointed out the several hundred positive reviews I have online. If stated facts equal belligerence, so be it. Yes, I had enough confidence to know that one very high maintenance individual would not quiet the symphony of hundreds of happy voices.

Snowed in at the cutest cabin ever!
We stayed at the Love Shack a few weeks ago during a winter weather advisory. We didn’t think it would impact our plans to visit different hot spots in deep creek because deep creek always get snow! Well, it was a lot of snow and winds so it just mad sense to hunker down especially since we had our two young daughters with us. The cabin was cute, clean, cozy, just PERFECT!!! We had a fire going throughout the weekend which just created such an ambience. We packed plenty of food and just kept cooking and baking. Our girls just loved relaxing and playing in the snow! The hot tub was wonderful! It was a perfect retreat for our very busy family. We needed this weekend so bad!

Love Shack
We have been going up to Deep Creek Lake every January for the last five years. The Love Shack is the best cabin we have stayed in. The kitchen and bathroom look like they have been recently renovated. Very clean and updated. The fireplace and leather couch made the living room very comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after snow tubing in cold and windy weather. The loft area was great also. We had a great weekend.

The perfect local getaway
What a great experience! My lady and I brought in the new year here and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. It started snowing on our way into town so we had the perfect excuse stay in and enjoy the space. The cabin seems simple and quaint from the outside, but the inside is nicely renovated and well-kept, complete with modern appliances and sleek fixtures. Kudos to the hosts for keeping the space updated/maintained. To bring in 2024 here was special and something that we'll never forget. We look forward to visiting this part of MD again in the near future.

Winter Wonderland
Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous cozy cabin. Michelle was amazing and gave us so many recommendations! The hot tub and loft area were our daughter's favorite spots to hang out. The cabin is so close to town and Wisp. It was our home away from home, lots of laughter, smiles, and fun were had by all. Mother Nature treated us with beautiful snow making it a winter wonderland during our stay! We definitely will return for our next winter family trip.

Nice winter getaway!
We had an amazing winter getaway before Christmas with our family of 4 at the Love Shack. We loved the layout of the cabin, the hot tub was a big hit & our kids adored the loft area! We had a fire going almost the whole time, and cooked all our meals in the cabin. Everything was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Great Anniversary Getaway
The cabin was so charming nestled amongst the trees of Deep Creek Lake. Convenient to restaurants and stores as well as the Deep Creek Discovery Center which offered great views of the lake and walking trails. Dinner was delicious at the upscale Dutch’s just a block over from the cabin. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. The outside hot tub added a nice relaxing touch. Highly recommend the “Love Shack”!!!

Great cabin!
This cabin is a great place for a weekend getaway. The cabin is very clean and cozy and located in the center of pretty much anything you want to do. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Also, the communication between us and the property owners was A+.

Much deserved get-away!
The cabin was everything we expected and then some! It was perfect for the two of us, very cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and great for spotting wildlife! Great sisters getaway
The Love Shack was perfect for us. The enclosed hot tub was large enough and the gas fire pit on the front porch allowed us to spend many hours outside on the cool autumn nights. The kitchen was well equipped and the cabin is tastefully decorated. Loved exploring the Deep Creek area from here!

Quiet and cozy
This was the second time we stayed at The Love Shack and enjoyed our stay as much this time as last. It is an adorable cabin with an outside hot tub and all the amenities of home in the quiet Yellowstone Village. It is close to restaurants, shopping, Deep Creek lake and a lot of fun activities. Booking with Vrbo was easy and working with the property owner Michelle has always been a pleasant experience. We would not hesitate to book again in the future.

This was a great property, perfect size for a small family and a couple friends. Great location close proximity to everything Deep Creeek has to offer. Cute loft, but very steep steps. Keep in mind for a small child. The property has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay! Couch is a bit worn, but fine to crash on together. Nicely updated kitchen. Cozy/ tight layout, but was just fine for our group. Enjoy!

Such a beautiful little cabin. Super clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, amazing place perfect for family of 4. The cabin is located within a 15 mins to each state park, Wisp, and all the boat rental places. A cross the street from the cabin there is lake and wonderful Dutch,s restaurant. You cannot ask for a better place to relqx and enjoy family time. We had a blast!! Highly Recommended !! Wonderful place !!:

The love shack is a very nice place to stay. It has a rustic look with modern amenities. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice to walk. It's very close to park's and places to eat. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend staying there.

Best girls trip cabin ever
The love shack was such an amazing cabin for my girls trip! The whole house was so clean and smelled so good it just made you feel instantly comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with very nice dishes and utensils as well as cookware. The whole house was decorated so cute (we even took pictures for inspiration for our own houses). The hot tub was perfect and the gas fire pit on the front porch was perfect to sit out there and watch the rain. Will definitely be booking again!

Awesome Love Shack
The Love Shack was perfect for a weekend getaway. Nestled away on a quiet road, we loved the cozy, but up-to-date cabin with a perfect front porch to drink coffee or snuggle by the fire pit. The host Michelle gave us plenty of suggestions to the best town eateries and bars. We loved the Honi Honi bar (which was very close by) and their live music and fun crowd. A 5* spot perfect for couples or a fun friend getaway. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Overall our stay was great... there was plenty of space for our family of 4, appliances were updated, check in and out was easy and location was great. The cabin was decorated nicely and we enjoyed the porch and the hot tub. The one issue... pet hair. I knew the cabin was pet friendly, so maybe it should have been expected, but also could tell how important cleanliness was to the owner. Because of this, I was surprised that all the blankets, pillows and bedding left pet hair on our clothes. It wasnt a huge issue AT ALL but the cleanliness just didn’t quite meet my expectations and I wanted to reflect this in my review for future renters. That said, we would come again and enjoyed our time in Deep Creek! :-)

Neat little cabin
We stayed for a long weekend to go snow tubing with our son. The cabin was clean, comfortable and easy to find. The little neighborhood was safe and dog friendly. Hot tub was definitely an amazing end to our evenings and the little fireplace table on the front porch was just right for morning coffee. Indoor fireplace is awesome and heats the whole place up super quick.

Great Cabin.
This cabin was great. Three bedrooms and just the right size for us. It was close to everything at the lake. The cabin was very clean and taken care of. Hot tub was great in the snow. All newer appliances and rooms were very nice. Owner was very easy to talk to and gave great instructions on checking in and out. We would definitely stay here again.
