This private 1-bedroom is a calm home base in Oakland. High ceilings and clean tile floors keep the space open and easy to care for, and well-insulated walls make it quiet enough for restful sleep or remote work. The bedroom`s electric fireplace doubles as a heater for cozy evenings, and the queen bed comes with a tufted headboard and open shelving.

The kitchen has a gas range, full-size fridge, microwave, and a breakfast bar, plus a dining nook with a bold accent wall and a coffee station for your morning brew. The bathroom has both a rainfall and a handheld shower (shower only, no tub), with a hair dryer and fresh towels provided. Outside, the shared patio has string lights and shaded seating, surrounded by greenery. A shared washer and dryer is available for stays of 5 nights or more.

The unit sits in a gated duplex. You`ll enter through a shared community gate, and the code is sent before check-in. A walkway leads from the gate to your private unit, which is entirely yours. The gate, driveway parking, and patio are shared. The owner lives in the separate unit upstairs and respects your privacy.

Check-in is self-service, so you can arrive on your own schedule. I`m available anytime through the app and respond quickly to questions.

Located between the 580 and 880 freeways, the neighborhood makes it easy to explore Oakland and the wider Bay Area. International Boulevard is lined with taquerias, bakeries, and Caribbean spots, and the Fruitvale Village Farmers` Market is a weekend favorite. Lake Merritt is close by for an evening walk under the lights, and Jack London Square offers waterfront dining minutes away. Getting around: 8 minutes to Jack London Square, 10 minutes to Downtown Oakland and Chinatown, 10 minutes to Fruitvale BART, and about 15 minutes to San Francisco, traffic permitting.

Like most homes in the Bay Area, the unit doesn`t have air conditioning. Oakland`s mild climate keeps it comfortable most of the year. Please no smoking, pets, or parties.
Quiet Hours
To respect the comfort of all guests in the building, we ask that you observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise levels low during these times, especially if you have neighbors in close proximity.

No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the unit and within the building`s premises. Any evidence of smoking will result in additional cleaning fees.

Pets Policy
We love our four-legged friends, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the property. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Check-out Procedures
Check-out time is at 12:00 PM. Before leaving, please ensure that all lights are turned off, windows and doors are locked, and all appliances and electronic devices are turned off. Please dispose of all trash in the designated area, and leave the unit in the same condition as when you arrived. Missing or damaged items will be charged accordingly.

Parking
Unfortunately, we do not offer parking on the premises. However, there are nearby public parking areas that guests can utilize.
