Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay. There were 2 couples and I loved that each of us was able to have our own "floor". I have never seen such a well-stocked home! The kitchen is beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the deck, watching the stars.

Lovely Homebase While Visiting Yosemite

We had a great stay! The home was very clean with all that you will need for a comfortable stay. The open layout was great for visiting. The hot tub and the large grassy backyard were lots of fun. It was great to have a grassy space to play fetch and soccer with our lab. The laundry facilities were very helpful as well.

Great place for Bass Lake and Yosemite vacation.

Nice secluded cabin that is very comfortable. Short drive to Bass Lake and easy access to Yosemite. Our party had 10 people and we were very comfortable. Beautiful backyard and creek running in the back of the property. Would highly recommend and will be bringing my family back soon.

Wonderful stay

This is an amazing property. The workmanship on the remodeling was great and the decorative touches matched. It is quality thru and thru and the little added touches made for a great time. All the extras in the yard make it hard to leave to go see Yosemite which was the reason you came to begin with. You will enjoy your stay here.

Our stay was amazing. We went there to celebrate my adult daughter's birthday. The house was so cute and welcoming. Shannon was an amazing host and there was everything that we needed and more. The yard was huge and beautiful and so relaxing with lounge chairs. And the sound of the creek at the back of the property was just an added bonus. We definitely plan on visiting again.

Paradise in the Mountains

The pictures don't do this property justice. From the little creek in the backyard to the special touches that Shannon adds, you simply have to experience it for yourself. Five adults and one dog stayed comfortably for three nights. We had plenty of soace, and the large backyard was a fave forvour pup! We took many walks, and spent an entire day at Yosemite which is only 20 minutes away. We also had a great time on the Sugar Pine Railroad. We hope to be back soon!

LOVED IT!!

This was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. The house was nice and warm with a fire waiting for us as we arrived and the host added complimentary touches that made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed time by the creek and of course the hot tub in the cold weather. It was a beautiful place to return to after adventures on trails and the snow. We loved it and hope to return in the future.

Cozy Cabin

This place is a gem, very cozy with everything you need. Property was super clean, beds and pillows super comfy and fresh linens. Everything carefully thought out. Plenty of firewood provided and the ambiance set upon our arrival. Easy communication. About an hour and 20 to Yosemite Valley. Thanks again for the lovey stay.

Perfect family getaway

My family thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this home. Every detail was so well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, spices and even treats. We felt so welcomed. Everything was clean and comfortable from the towels to the sheets and beds. The backyard and creek area was a delight for the kids to explore. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Will definitely have to come back. A must stay!

Excellent Stay

Overall this stay was excellent. The house and property itself were clean and well apportioned and the yard was huge. That alone would have been enough for a 5 star review. But what pushed it into the best stay I’ve had through VBRO was a fire going when we got to the house, with a pie waiting in the fridge. What homey touches! All around thank you for such a great place to stay for Thanksgiving.

Mini getaway

It was one of the top five cottages that we ever have stayed in. Shannon and Steve were awesome. very helpful, very accommodating. All the little touches didn't go unnoticed. The grandkids and dog especially loved the backyard and stream. The treadmill and jacuzzi was a plus to. The house was incredible. This was a home away from home. This place is a must to stay in. We will be back again.

2024 Family Bass Lake Trip

Highly recommend. All aspects of the venue were simply excellent. It was organized, exceptionally cleaned, attention to details of kitchen items needed; spacious, thoughtful extras provided, and comfortable beds/living space areas. The grounds were beautiful and the creek/gazebo areas were very relaxing. Near recreation areas. Our only regret was not staying longer. Be sure to bring your bug repellent for outdoor. Plan on returning. Many great memories.

We went here with our family for my daughter-in-law‘s family birthday weekend - 5 adults and the 3 grandkids (7, 4 and 1)The photos can’t begin to describe the rental. The owners were super thoughtful and communicative to ensure our stay was a 10+, and it was! The home was very clean, well-stocked with utensils and spices, and the owners even left us a bottle of wine and snacks to welcome us. The yard is a dream come true on Nelder Creek. The house is close to Yosemite and Bass Lake, and we visited both during our stay. We had a wonderful time!

From the time you open the door to enter the retreat it was truly inviting and felt so cozy. Everything was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was filled with nice surprises and bedrooms/baths had everything you needed. After hiking through out the day and return back to the relaxing furniture was incredibly comfortable. We highly recommend this retreat to anyone. Tranquil and relaxing

I had never been to Bass Lake before. We fell in love right upon arrival. Shannon and Steve have created a place that makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. They were a text away at all times and were extremely accommodating. We had a party of 7 and there was more than enough room to spread out and enjoy this retreat. My kids did not even pick up their phones until the last part of the trip because they had so much fun in the creek on the property and the time we had on the lake. I will definitely return, and highly recommend Nedler Creek Cottage.
