"Husband and I booked this place for a last minute get away to fire island. It was an ideal low key cozy spot with all the stores, restaurants within walking distance. The terminal to fire island was nearby as well, which helped for a day trip from where we were staying. Overall, I loved the low-key vibe. It truly took us away from our routine lives daily. "

"I had a magical impromptu stay at this property and couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I booked, the process was seamless, with James, the property owner, being incredibly responsive and providing clear, detailed instructions for check-in. His attention to detail made everything effortless. The property is in a perfect location with stunning views. I had already seen the beautiful sunsets from the pier, but the sunrises were equally breathtaking. The area offers a lively vibe in the evenings, with restaurants perfect for a younger crowd. We discovered the "South Ocean Grill" for a more intimate dining experience, and it didn’t disappoint—the food, drinks, and atmosphere were perfect for a relaxed dinner. Afterward, we enjoyed a peaceful stroll through the town, which offers something for everyone—families, couples, and younger crowds alike. In the morning, I had a peaceful run by the bay, with a gorgeous sunrise to start the day. The property itself was well-equipped with everything needed, from a stocked kitchen to toiletries for emergencies. There was also a cozy porch to enjoy the starry nights. I highly recommend this property for a getaway, whether short or long. I’m already planning my return, especially during the summer when the town hosts events and fireworks! "If I could give this booking 6-stars, I would. House is exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean, rooms are a good size, linens and bedding are luxurious. Ashley was an amazing host. Very responsive, instructions to access the unit were easy to understand. We were there for a running race and she even left us a care package with Gatorade snacks and some post run hot chocolate (it was January)! If we’re back in Patchogue, her listing will definitely be my first choice!"
