Two-story, oceanfront home on East Beach custom-built by Moffitt Construction in 2020 that sleeps up to 15 people. The home offers visitors four TV's with basic cable and high-speed wireless internet. The large oceanfront decks are accessible from each of the king bedrooms. Other outdoor amenities include a hot and cold outside shower and direct beach access. The home also features an open living area, an eat-in kitchen that seats eight (total seating for 15 including the dining area). The home is right across the street from Pepperoni Grill and walking distance to the splash pad, Middleton Park recreational fields, skate park, Publix supermarket and restaurants. Nightly rentals are available with a three-night minimum. Also available for off-season monthly rentals.

Beach Time

Hosted family at the beach including my 9 month old granddaughter and her dad who turned 30 while we were there. Air conditioning went out mid week while we were there. Took 5 hours before someone came to take care of it. Window air conditioners were quickly installed to help until HVac could be serviced. Baby loved the beach. Would definitely stay in the same house again if HVAC is working. Great vacation even with air conditioning outage and a tropical storm on the last two days.

Very nice and well designed

Better than advertised, stocked kitchen, great location and perfect beach view and access. Especially liked that two bedrooms had private baths and with the other bedrooms, each pair shared a full bathroom, so no one had to go down a hallway for access. We hope to return next year!

Amazing views!

You couldn’t get a better view or location! The house is great for large groups and families. The only downside is we had to make all the beds when we arrived. And we visited in the winter so having any extra blankets or comforters available would have been very useful.

Great Family Trip

We had a great experience at this location. The Oak Island Accommodations company was great to work with - very communicative. The property was in an excellent location, right on the beach with easy access to the water and sand. The property was clean and comfortable. If we could change anything, it would be that every room would be furnished with a TV. We highly recommend this property.

A Retreat at the Ocean

Three of us took an online silent meditation retreat while at Salt & Light. The house was immaculate and seemed very new/updated. We were a small group so we had plenty of space. Large kitchen, huge comfy sectional, and two beautiful decks overlooking the water. We each had bedrooms with ocean views which was luxurious. Weather was perfect, long stretches of beach for morning runs. No screens so always a handful of bees flying around inside but the views were improved by lack of screens so we quite enjoyed it. Would definitely rent again!

Great beachfront home at Oak Island

We had a great week at this front beach home. It was perfect for our family - walk right into the beach for fun and sun or listen to the waves right from the couch. Close to grocery store and small local shops and only 20 min to Southport for fresh seafood. Definitely recommend. Property manager was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions. Loved it!

Location was excellent!

Oceanfront and right across the street from Pepperoni Grill. The location of this home is awesome. The home was clean and all the appliances worked as they should. The new vinyl plank flooring is a really nice touch. The floor itself is buckled though. The sliding doors do not slide very well at all. The upstairs dressers are pretty much worthless because the drawers just fall out of cabinet. I'm sure the hurricane last year had a lot to do with some of the flaws in the home. Oceanfront homes take a beating without a hurricane and I would stay here again.
