Our mini family vaca was just a few days but we felt so at home it was the best stay we’ve had in a long time! Oak Island is now our summer vacation home, they are pet friendly and allow you to take your furry friend on the beach all day (with leash). Beds very comfortable and everything relatively clean - they could have done a better job cleaning windows which were all pretty dirty. But, this place has absolutely no ‘extras’ to make your week (or more) feel like anything more than a hotel stay. No more than a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, absolutely bare kitchen - not even salt/pepper, and no cleaning supplies or garbage bags. Left us with one dishwasher pod and that was about it. We spent a week with no hot water in the kitchen (they couldn’t fix) and for the amount of money you pay I thought it was pretty bare bones and I’d not rent here again. ##### Jimmy C.
