Only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed the decor, the beds, and screened porch. We had a relaxing time. Of note, the beach is a little bit of a walk. We crossed the highway and found a bridge and walkway behind the rec center. I ended up driving my 70 yo MIL there on the next beach visit. Also, we enjoyed the Seafood Festival this weekend. The host sent detailed check in instructions a few days before we got there so it was easy upon arrival. House was stocked with basic amenities and the only suggestion we had was considering adding more of a variety of cooking utensils and serving ware. We cooked in most nights and could generally work with what was available but future visitors might appreciate additional cookware options. We each had a king size bed and our own bathroom. What luxury! The house has a great floor plan for privacy and integrated open concept too. We drove to the public beach access and parked for our day trips to the beach and also enjoyed a trip to Bald Head Island and Southport. The area has lots to do and good seafood restaurants as well!
