"Self checkin was very easy. Our door would not shut a couple of times but we figure it out .Nice decor Quaint town We had an issue with our AC but they fixed it right away. Bedding was very nice but bed felt like our heads were tipped down The floor was a little sandy. Very quiet area. Every communication was done by text. . We communicated with Daphne and she was wonderful!"

"This was a very sweet refuge to find while my partner was ill. We were out remote camping when he became ill so I searched for a place where we could stay for the night. We then extended by 2 more nights because the staff was so friendly, the accommodations were perfect and there was easy access to food. This place felt like it was straight out of the movie Dirty Dancing. We are already planning a trip back! Thank you to the staff of The Brown Swan for taking all of my take out orders and preparing our food. Thank you to the front desk staff for being so responsive and helpful. You were so helpful when we needed it most."

"Leslie and Emily are two amazing women. When we first showed up, we weren’t sure but they showed us around property and as we got to know them and the property as they are very hands on and they are great people. The water tube bed in the Richard Glamp was interesting to sleep on; I did great my husband not so much. Only writing this so you know. The fact that they made pizza for a nominal fee everyday was a great concept as there isn’t much around there to eat. They also do same thing for breakfast. This is definitely a place to unplug; we really enjoyed our stay."

"It was a great stay! The queen matteress needs to be replaced. It sloped down towards the floor on the one side... It was squished down as if that was the spot everyone sits. There was no paddle boat that was shown in the pics however, there was a canoe.There is a creek near the cabin that is almost completely surrounded by trees and shaded so we didn't utilize it because there were a lot of bugs.Overall we were very happy with the stay!"

"The Fern is a beautiful B&B on the Lake. We stayed in the Oak room and the view was spectacular. I highly recommend the Fern if you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway."

"The property is immense! We ended up being 7 adults and 6 children and there was no problem with sleeping/playing space. The pool is immaculately maintained. Although there were a couple of bumps in the road, the owner and staff were quick to remedy. I particularly enjoyed the screened in porch! A true pleasure for a gal not into dealing with the negative parts of nature, i.e. bugs, bees, etc.! I would heartily recommend this property for fun loving families...with a shout out to The Remington Restaurant who accomodated our large family with wonderful food and drink!"
