Very good location, close to the main touristic spots. Restaurant is pretty good and staffs very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very large and comfortable, with nice view of the lake. Very good stay globally. Meanwhile, the hotel is aging and requires some more maintenance, I would not recommend with young kids regarding safety issues, and it is globally noisy because of boats passing along all day (we stayed during low season...). ##### FABIEN Stayed 3 nights in Feb 2019 ### 8/10 Good #### Marianne 11 Dec 2018 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Lovely view and earplugs You arrive with the boat at this floating resort and yoi are immediately struck by the beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff, nice pool area and lovely bungalows. But I raised an eyebrow (or two) when I saw that among the amenities in the room are also earplugs. That’s because during the day, the speedboats that transport tourists and locals can be heard all the time. Thankfully, not at night. In my opinion, this is not a hotel for young children, as there is nothing to do there for young guests. The food in the restaurant is average. But the staff is really nice and helpful. You can tell that tourist numbers are way down in Myanmar, not many rooms were occupied at this resort, as one the second day of our stay, there was no longer a breakfast buffet on offer. Vi har rejst som backpackere og derfor ønskede vi et lille break fra hostels. Med dette floating hotel fik vi den luksus vi søgte. Servicen er fantastisk og bungalows ude i vandet er helt fantastiske. Vi blev en anelse overraskede over at vores hotel rent faktisk lå ude i søen og at det derfor var nødvendigt at sejle derud. Fordi vi ankom midt om natten og var lidt rundt på gulvet hoppede vi på da de sagde de ville have 30000kyat for at sejle os til hotellet. Vi fandt senere ud af at det kun koster 10000kyat. Selvom vi ankom til halv syv om morgen og altså over 7 timer inden checkout, undskyldte de meget at vi lige skulle vente en time på at få vores værelse. Vi syntes selvfølgelig at det var fantastisk service at vi overhovedet kunne få værelset så tidligt. Derudover er restauranten også ret god. Vi ville gerne have lejet kajakker men det kunne de ikke hjælpe os med. Der er måske generelt så meget at lave men der er perfekt til afslapning. Breakfast left a little to be desired and only found out that pancakes were available on request after we had checked out!
