"Fairmont Lake Louise is out of this world. A truly unique location and property. Not to be missed! The ability to experience Lake Lousie without a crowd is a valuable and unique opportunity (and staying at this property is really the only way to do that). My only feedback is that the only (small) pool and hot tub (for general, rather than spa guest) is indoors and does not have any view. It didn't bother us for our summer visit, but this might be a bummer for a winter trip."

"How many hotels have you been to where you need to take a 20 minute aerial gondola ride to get to? If you're afraid of heights, or you arrive too late they have a shuttle van too. You're over halfway up a mountain at over 7000' (2100m), so be aware of that too. But it's a very cool experience. We were there in late June and they still had ski lifts running and lots of outdoor adventures. Watch out for the mountain goats on the road up to the parking lot/gondola station, we saw them on the way up and on the way back down."

"This resort was incredibly beautiful inside and out. It smelled wonderful everywhere. The staff were all genuinely friendly; the service everywhere was excellent. There were plenty of amenities on site and the concierge was helpful with information re off site activities."

"The shower area in suite 28 was extremely small, and you get splashed with cold water while adjusting the temperature. There is barely any space in the shower area. For the price we paid (> $800 per night), the shower was cheap. If you like a comfortable shower, ask ahead of time and stay away from suite 28."
