"Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Rooms and Grounds, but Inconvenient Layout & Policies We recently stayed in a newly remodeled "Pool View/Partial Ocean View" room, which was excellent; the bed was very comfy, the room was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure. The landscaping throughout the resort is also immaculately kept. However, the current construction in the lobby made navigating the resort a major headache. To get to our 2nd-floor room, we had to go to the opposite wing, up to the 3rd floor, walk across, and then back down. The towel policy is also a letdown; you have to exchange a card at the lobby (which is in the opposite direction of the pool), making it feel redundant and poorly planned. Pros: Staff: Very friendly and personable, though our check-in agent spoke very fast and lacked a welcoming smile. Gift Shop: Huge selection! We also didn't realize there was a Starbucks in the back until our third day. Cleanliness: Rooms and grounds are 10/10. Cons: Pool/Jacuzzi: Several pool sections were blocked off without explanation, and the only Jacuzzi was out of order. Hours: Drinks closing at 6:00 PM at the Driftwood Bar is way too early, and there is no poolside wait staff. Fees: Expect to pay $29/night for self-parking (or $39 for valet) on top of a $35 daily resort fee. Communication: We wish the check-in staff had explained the concierge services (called on day two) or the QR code for resort info (found on day three)."

"The hotel location was great and the beach was beautiful. It's an old hotel that has been remodel a bit but it shows. There are two swimming pools but they resemble more motel swimming pools than Hilton swimming pools. There is a breakfast restaurant open from 6:00 to 10:00 am with a very limited breakfast menu. Again, not what you would expect from a Hilton property. The other place to eat is a beach shack. Luckily there are a few restaurants and coffee shops walking distance from the hotel. I am glad we stayed there because it was in a convenient location and the beach was great. Once we adjusted our expectations, we enjoyed our stay."

"My fiance Maria and I had the most amazing time at our stay at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort. We had a beautiful room on the third floor that had ocean view and looked out onto the beautiful grassy area next to the Resort. We enjoyed a really nice dinner at the restaurant onsite called Naupaka Terrace where we had the Fish and Chips and Grilled Korean Beef Short Ribs. During the day we spent time at all four pools and I enjoyed the waterslide. Super fun slide!Parking was really easy and close to our room. Every amenity at the Resort was within close proximity to our room and that made for really convenient transitions from one event to another. Megan, Sadie and Jean were so nice at the Front Desk and were always there in case we needed assistance with our room. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back next year. "

"Just barely could see the ocean but the view was still nice. Parking was expensive but so glad we had a car. Would like to have had a tv channel guide not just on the tv which we had to search for. It was nice having a refrig and coffee maker with coffee which was mighty tasty."

"Lovely stay even with all the rain. Ate breakfast everyday at the restaurant and George was our server~we fell in love with him. He was always smiling and so friendly and gave us some great ideas on places to go. All of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. "

"Great views next to the ocean. Communication was easy. The pool area was great. I liked the location for being able to access both sides of the island. The resort was under construction making it hard to get around it. Things broken in the resort caused some inconvenience (ice maker, water filter, door to access our floor). For what we paid it seems reasonable. "

"We had a great stay at this property! It was close to everything, the pools were awesome and the sunrises on the beach were spectacular! One of the jacuzzis was out of order and the other was full of kids and teens. Not a problem it you are a traveling family. "
