Great location for walks and local pubs to dine and river location on the broads.
Great location for walks and local pubs to dine and river location on the broads.Comfortable well appointed lounge diner but fairly small bedroom and large bathroom. If you have a dog be aware there is no enclosed yard area. The property is also on a sharp bend but fairly quiet village road.No local shopping.
Very friendly and helpful hosts/owners.

We enjoyed the stay, fortunate with the weather so we were out most days.
We enjoyed the stay, fortunate with the weather so we were out most days. The main space is enough for two people to not feel too much on top of each other, the bedroom is quite tight but plenty of storage, the bathroom is clean and well equipped. The patio with a table and chairs is pleasant but exposed and we were conscious of the road, busy twice a day, has no gate and this caused anxiety about the dog. The location is great, ten minutes to Norwich, lovely local villages towards Beccles without using main roads and lovely walk past the Church down to the nature reserve which can be a circular one hour walk, part riverside. It is possible to walk to the Ferry Inn, but there is the walk back to consider.

We really loved our time at Church Barn Studio and would love to return.
We really loved our time at Church Barn Studio and would love to return. The cottage is in a perfect location by the old church, river and fen so you can walk straight out of the cottage into rural Norfolk. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the cooking utensils necessary. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower. The bed was comfortable and the lounge cosy. We enjoyed sitting in the garden at the table (when it wasn't raining!) Despite very poor weather I would have no hesitation in returning and booking another holiday in this pretty location.
