When arriving on Friday at 3 it looked like somebody had a big party out front and never cleaned up. Piles of returnables and garbage was first impression. Coming into the house looked like somebody left without totally putting their personal stuff away but upon closer inspection it was never properly cleaned with hair in the bathrooms, facial shavings in the drawers, beer cans behind beds and moldy dishes in the dishwasher. The wonderful view of the ocean was blocked by all the outdoor furniture strewn everywhere. We tried to do some quick tidying up but found no paper towels so we could clean the Cheerios off the counter and wipe stuff down. We awoke to all the toilets were clogged and poop was coming up the downstairs shower as we prepared for the wedding we were headed to. We alerted the owner Kerry and she did send someone out 3 hours later to pull all the toilets and try to fix the clog but it didn't totally help us get ready for our wedding. Some used the outdoor shower ( Chilly) and we left for the wedding around 3 while the plumber worked away at it. Bathroom floors still a little filthy with fecal matter. Not sure who manages this VRBO but we as hosts at our own properties understand issues but would have put our eye on what our clients were walking into first. Thought she might reach out for a little refund. For a weekend at that price I would suggest looking around until Kerry finds better management. We hope thats helpful for the next victims.
