"Very accommodating and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Conveniently located to many nice restaurants . My room was impeccably clean. Great place !

"Wonderful spa, very good breakfast, very decorative hotel.
Only negative is lack of sound proofing.. you hear literally everything from the corridor, doors opening and closing, guests talking, room service.. difficult to sleep after 7am."
"A very comfortable room and bed in a lovely setting. My only complaint is that if the hotels kitchens are closed (which they were for our second night) there is literally nothing else around. We will stay there again very happily."
"Nice hotel in secluded location. Wish parking was located a little closer to the hotel (did allow for drop off closer to hotel though). Good breakfast and attentive staff!"

Hotel with lovely surrounds and handy to the lake.
"We had a five night stay at the Lido La Perla having planned to spend some time on Lake Maggiore during our month holiday.
It is a very nice hotel, well located near the lake foreshore with excellent access to the boating transport needed to visit the many sights on the lake.
The hotel staff were very caring, the breakfast was vast and very fresh food, the room was well serviced with clean towels and linen each day and the bathroom was very good although having to step into the bath to shower is a possible hazard for elderly or informed guests.
The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main town of Stresa so dining opportunities were limited but we used the nearby which was very good with a great view of the lake and a good menu. A taxi is required to get to and from the hotel if travelling by train. A couple of negatives are there was no fridge in our room ( forget having cold drinks available in your room) , there was no tea/ coffee making facilities and the tv could only be tuned to non English speaking stations.
The hotel’s gardens are quite spectacular with large flowering hydrangeas and indoor there was a pool and very good couch areas to rest.
Overall very good but a bit overpriced."
