"Perfect location close to the water and walkable to the main shopping area and restaurants within 5 minutes on the flat (which was ideal in the ice/snow as the hills looked slippery) The hotel has been beautifully decorated, the included breakfast was great and the basic double room was plenty big enough. Will be recommending to anyone I know if they travel to Akureyri. "

"We were originally booked in another hotel but were upgraded to this one due to the virus scare. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was a little bit small but had a good shower. Again, the staff were great from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant to the bar tender. "

"Staff was very friendly and gave a tour upon arrival. Property and setting were beautiful. Hot tub at the end of day looking over the fjord was amazing. Breakfast was the best we had by far in Iceland. "

"The shared facilities were the best for camping. The pods we slept in felt great although we flipped the mattress, the space the had many outlets, ample heat and insulated walls. Surrounding the area with cool walking paths to a lake and the waterfall by the restaurant was amazing! It's a dark zone to see the sky perfectly at night! "
