"Hotel is located in a great area of Akureyri! Easy to walk around and plenty of great dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel itself has a restaurant/bar with good food. Our room was decent and what we needed for our one-night stay."

"Easily the best stop on our ring road trip. Beautiful setting and design of the rooms. Great unexpected amenities like the community games room. Had the best meal of the trip at the on site restaurant. Best hotel buffet breakfast of the trip. We wish we could have stayed there longer!!"

"Spacious cosy room, comfy bed, we had a balcony, lovely to open up and let air in as only one small window and no aircon/fan. Was difficult to keep water contained in shower tray with curtain that didn’t fit the area completely, hence shower wet floor around toilet and Vanity as not a large area. Found hallway foot /voice traffic with wheelie trolleys noisy when other guests arrived ,or talking when passing ( not soundproof rooms) for us was arrivals late at night, perhaps carpet hallways would be better. Nice Brekky offered."

"Stayed here for just 1 night on our recent trip to Iceland, but next time we'll plan to spend at least a few nights here. The property itself is utterly charming, with a really great little onsite restaurant that serves a nice dinner menu and a solid breakfast buffet. Our room (booked on short notice) was small but very nice and cozy, with a fantastic shower and products. If we go back, we'll look at booking one of the larger rooms, as there are multiple options & layouts available among their 20 rooms. But the real selling point here is the location and setting. Nestled just across the street from the stunning Goldfoss waterfall, the view is breathtaking - even for Iceland, which is chock-full of breathtaking scenery. And it's perfectly located in the centre of the 'Diamond Circle', which you'd want a good 3-4 days to explore properly."

"One of the few hotels in the area. The property was good but their walls are hollow you can hear toilet flushes and conversations across. However can't beat its location, size and the onsite restaurant had the best food we ate in our ring road trip."
