Sky Ranch Lodge

Sky Ranch Lodge

8/10 Good
"Loved it, but the worker at the airstream trailer, kept my review low. I ordered a cappuccino, which was the worst that I had ever had. Water and milk foam, not much coffee. I support small businesses so I politely asked if they could have it remade. The morning chef, yelled “OMG” what’s wrong with it, embarrassing me, and the young girl was rude as well. They remade it again, worse than the 1st one but I let it go as I didn’t want to start any trouble. Ruined my whole stay. $8, down the drain. He was also yelling at customers who got order#s confused. VERY, VERY RUDE. I should have given hotel 3 stars. I reached out to front desk…nothing said. I’ll know better next time and will be posting a bad review."

"The Yavapai is a lovely motel which gives summer camp vibes with its cinderblock buildings and multi-cabin layout. It was very clean and, other than our outdoor ice machine not functioning (though we found ice at a nearby cabin), everything was great. It’s not as glamorous as some of the other accommodations available within Grand Canyon National Park, but they did allow us to bring our cats with us for a small fee, which was a necessity for us as we were driving across the country to my daughter’s college campus. The celestial views were absolutely incredible, I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen so many stars in the sky!"
