"Our stay at the Best Western in Raton was very nice. The staff was friendly, our meal at the on-site restaurant was really good and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great (order the pancakes for sure!). Would definitely stay here again!"

"We love historic properties, so this one fit the bill. Many films made at this location, and the rooms are all labeled with which famous people have stayed in them. Beautiful old hotel. You have to be okay with creaky floors and a bit of dustiness (It's 140 years old). The only problem is the restaurant. It opened late and closed early, so we never got to try it. There's almost nothing open on a Sunday evening in Las Vegas, NM, so that's an issue. Restaurant staff (understaffed) arrived late to open on Monday morning, so we had to skip it. But a fun place to stay if you like history."
