The hotel room was dirty. The bathroom most of all. The tub/shower backed up, there was a mildew/poopoo smell (glad i bought a candle), you can hear all the neighbors. The pull out couch has seen better days because it sinks in the middle. Everything was dingy, old, and smelly. The best thing about this hotel is the kitchenette.

Everything was just perfect from check in to check out. Best lace that we ever stayed. We will definitely be back for vacation!!!!! We will recommend The Colony to our family and friends. Thank you 🌞👍😎

The rooms are outdated. The sliding door to the balcony was very difficult to open and hard to lock. Housekeeping was poor. You had to complain multiple times to the front desk for them to come and clean your room. In my opinion you shouldn't have to ask to have your trash emptied and floor swept. It should be done daily. On the plus side you are next to the beach and being towards the north end of the boardwalk it wasn't extremely busy and wasn't over crowded.

The hotel overall is great. Right on the beach side with an amazing balcony view, depending on your room. The bed was great and soft, and the room was clean. The front desk staff were supper helpful, friendly, and answered all the questions I had. Would’ve have the hotel 5 stars but, as with everything in life, nothing is perfect. The outdoor pool is small, like really small. The indoor pool is a nice big size but it’s usually filled with kids, which makes it annoying sometimes, but what can you do about that. The parking sucks; you have to walk down the block and across the street, and the first 3-4 floors of the parking lot is always packed, so you have to go up quite a bit. They give you a QR code, which you only have to scan once when you enter, and the parking gate remembers you for the rest of the trip. Lastly, housekeeping is useless. I had the do not disturb sign and yet, they knocked at 7am and woke me up. I told them to come back the next day, and I guess it offended them because they never showed for the rest of the trip. Overall, it’s a great hotel and the King Suite I stayed in was amazing and huge. I’ll definitely come back and hopefully housekeeping comes around this time.
