Although there is not much within the immediate vicinity, the location itself is beautiful with direct views of the water. The unit is fully equipped with the necessities. Isolated but only 15 minutes drive from Nanaimo has been perfect for us. My only concern is that the grounds and pools don't appear to be maintained as well as they once were. Likewise a bit disheartening to see parents watching their kids destroy the playground facilities.....but that's not unique to this property. A second pool and laundry fob would be good.
