Perched on a hilltop above Lake Baroon Pocket, Lakeview Farm is a self-contained retreat where the view does half the talking. This lovingly restored 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage blends warm hinterland charm with a moody, modern edge — think dark timber tones, soft lighting, and a crackling indoor fireplace that makes even a cool Maleny evening feel like an event.

Inside, the cosy living room is made for slowing down, and the fully equipped kitchen means you can cook up a feast without a single trip to town. But it`s outside where Lakeview Farm really shines: step onto the deck for alfresco dining and sun-loungers, or gather around the firepit as the sky turns pink over the water.

From up here, the views are nothing short of sweeping — Lake Baroon Pocket stretches out below, with the ocean off Maroochydore visible on the horizon. Watch the sunrise break over the water in the morning, and after dark, settle in with a glass of wine under a sky full of stars.

Whether you`re after a romantic escape, a quiet weekend reset, or a base to explore the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Lakeview Farm offers a rare combination: a peaceful setting, striking design, and one of the best outlooks in North Maleny.

Please note that this is a home in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 8pm and ask that you respect our neighbours and generally keep noise to a minimum.

Unfortunately we do not accept school leavers.

Should you require a Sunshine Coast Hamper, or other stay enhancements, they can be acquired through our guest portal.

We do not provide Firewood or fire-starting equipment for the fireplace and firepit. This can be sourced locally from supermarkets and service stations in Maleny and surrounds.

This property is located on a working cattle farm. Please always close the gate behind you. There is an electric fence around the cabin, please ensure children are supervised outside at all times and no one touches the electric fence.
House Rules:
* Strictly no Parties.
* Strictly no Smoking.
* While we love animals, this property is unsuitable for pets.
* We have a rental agreement that needs to be signed prior to stay.
* For longer stays (more than 14 days) guests must agree to pay the cleaning cost for our cleaner to come every 14 days of your stay. This includes cleaning the property, changing over all the linen, and topping up consumables. Please don`t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries regarding this. The additional cleaning fees will be added to your booking.
* Be conscientious of our neighbours and please ensure that you leave the property neat and tidy prior to departure, including the removal of all rubbish.
