"All positives first. Very clean . The host was very responsive & checkn was easy. The robes were a great touch & the cabin had EVERY possible thing you might need. The woodstove was nice, added some comfort. The bed & bedding were ok too.The area was convenient to Wolfville & decent hiking. Found 2 waterfalls !! The cabin is very close to the bay. However if you are looking for a quintessential cottage I would describe this accommodation more like a cabin/beach shanty. The on line pics looked so much more vibrant & cottage like when actually it was very tired & sorry to sound harsh but needs a ladies touch. The surroundings while quiet were also rather depressing in spite of a couple nice cottages it mostly felt like a summer campground. I’m sure kids love it in the summer but it was not the quintessential cottage I had hoped for.But thank you for the stay & I hope you don’t mind my honesty."

The room was a little chilly when we arrived but that was quickly and efficiently addressed by the provision of a space heater. Wifi was strong. The three course served breakfast was tasty and provided a good start to our day. The only drawback to the location was the noise when there was traffic on the road. It was quiet at night for sleeping but noticeable once vehicles were travelling on the road in front of the establishment. It is a good location for accessing Cape Split to explore the area."
