The pool was a HUGE hit with my two teenage sons, as well as the bay/canal, where my 14yo spent countless hours fishing. He caught bass, mojarre, catfish, and cyclid. In addition, we were lucky enough to see gators and manatees swimming. Our host was responsive when I had a question. It was decorated beautifully & was very appealing! I would recommend a few more kitchen hand towels (there was only one). We actually cooked which I realize not everyone does on a vacation. So I would recommend adding a large pot for things like cooking pasta or fresh sea food. I also like to have Kleenexes in several of the rooms (we bought some & left them.) I really appreciated that Ed was so welcoming & texted several times too. We took some of his recommendations for beaches & food. The pool was a nice treat for our two year old granddaughter. However, the breezes were pretty stiff so we only used it about three times. We also watched an alligator swim around the canal for one of the days there. Our visit was very enjoyable! Then we got caught in a snow storm with our Denver layover on the way back. They canceled our flight & would have only been able to get the four of us out two days later. We ended up renting a four wheel drive & got home to SD on Sunday instead of Saturday.
