Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Tucked away near Bass Lake, this secluded vacation home on several acres has all your modern conveniences. The living room features couches and recliners, a brick fireplace with a woodstove built in, and a flatscreen TV. The kitchen has new appliances and granite countertops. Amenities include central heat and air conditioning, and a clothes washer and dryer. Outdoors there is a large patio and deck with plenty of seating. Beautiful Bass Lake is about 10 minutes from the house, and lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The Pines Village at the lake provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The nearby town of Oakhurst has shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. It's about a 40-minute drive up the road to enter into the South entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. As a reservoir owned by PG&E, Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered to 50% during the fall and winter months annually. Things to know: Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. Boat docks/boat slip are not in the water year-round. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. This is a wonderful property and our stay was almost great if not for a few hiccups that were taken care of in due time. The access code for the front door didn’t work upon arrival. Vacasa responded quickly and sent us a new code. Although there are two master suites only one has an en suite bath. The other is in the back of the house and requires a walk to the other side of the house. The bathrooms are tiny but functional. Temps were in the 40s at night during our stay and unfortunately the pilot light was out on the water heater! We had no hot water in the house our first night and day. Vacasa sent a maintenance person who took care of the problem that afternoon. It’s a beautiful property with great views but only one tiny TV and really slow wifi. It was a challenge for all 7 of us to watch Home Alone without squinting. Otherwise, everything was great! ;-) ##### earl m. The spacious beds and the open scenery is perfect for a group looking for a change from hotels. There is only one TV; a small one in the living room, but if that is not an issue for your party then this spot will do wonderfully. The spa also has a decent bit of space for a group to relax in (do remember to unlock the spa before use, and clean it thoroughly after each use!) Unfortunately the house is also quite some distance from the Lake and Oakhurst, so if you’re not willing to do a minimum 20 minute drive to either then this is not a place to rent. It rained the whole time but the house provided a great place to hang out and do games and activities. Very cute decor and lots of comfy places to sit. The one thing that was a bit of a pain is the oven didn’t work very well… it couldn’t maintain a consistent heat and didn’t always hit the target temperature. There was a few things that could of been cleaned better or fixed (broken towel bar in the master bathroom).
