On the other hand, my room was definitely dated. The shower barely had any water pressure, and the mattress was very uncomfortable when sleeping on my back or side. My preferred positions. For reference, I am 6’1 and 180 lbs. Lastly, visitors are not allowed to see you at this hotel. Knowing the area a little, I believe that this a good rule. However, keep that in mind if you wish to see family or friends in the area. The internet was very weak and limited, and it would frequently disconnect, causing me to miss my online meetings. More than 90% of the meals were the same every day during our week-long stay. There were no special activities except for one pool table for the entire resort. More than 90% of the staff were very kind, nice, respectful and welcoming. Our suite was changed three times, the first because of water coming from the ceiling, the second because of the cooling system and broken beds, etc. For those who are sensitive to cleanliness and very old building, who follow a variety of foods, and who don't want to get bored after a few days, I don't recommend it at all." For a hotel positioning itself as luxury, this level of visible wear and lack of attention to detail is disappointing. Maintenance across the property also appeared neglected. There were dead trees in the pool area, which significantly impacted the atmosphere and gave the impression of poor upkeep. The gym was another major letdown. There was only one machine available, and it was broken during my stay, making the facility unusable. I had to travel about 10 minutes to an external gym to complete my workouts, which was inconvenient. Service was also very slow, and there were multiple mistakes made during my restaurant visits. The overall impression was a lack of attentiveness and care from the team, which further detracted from the experience.
